JAMES BOYNEWICZ FRESHMAN DEFENSE #9 VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE SOUTH ATLANTIC CONF NCAA DI

James graduated from Cox High School in 2021 as a 4 year Varsity lacrosse player and a 2 time team Captain.  

He was recognized 2 time as a First Team All-Conference player.  James was also honored in his Senior year as a US Lacrosse All-American Athlete.  James continues his lacrosse career as a recruited D1 lacrosse player at Virginia Military Institute.  He is excited to be a starting Close Defender for the VMI team.

In 11 games for VMI, James has 25 GB, 4 TO and 13 CTO


WESTON GREEN SOPHOMORE DEFENSE #63 LIMESTONE UNIVERSITY SOUTH ATLANTIC CONF NCAA DII

Weston Green was a 2020 graduate of Frank W Cox High School.

Weston played on the CFBLC Team for four years and was Team Captain during his Senior Year.

Weston attends Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina. He is majoring in Athletic Trainer with plans to attend graduate school and work towards his Doctor of Physical Therapy. He plays under the coaching staff of JB Clarke, who currently holds a winning percentage of 89.1%, a 2014 and 2015 USILA Division II Coach of the Year, and has three NCAA Division II National Championships (2014, 2015, and 2017) and six national championship game appearances for the Saints Team. Weston has appeared in a preseason scrimmage against Jacksonville University and 1 regular season game; he has 1 ground ball under his belt. EWAN TEMPLE SENIOR ATTACK #13 WASHINGTON COLLEGE CENTENNIAL CONF NCAA DIII

Ewan Temple was a 2018 graduate of Frank W Cox High School.

Ewan played on the CFBLC Team for four years and was Team Captain during his Junior and Senior Year.

Ewan attends Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Ewan is majoring in American Studies. Ewan is coached by NCAA DIII Coach of the Year Jeff Shirk. The Shoremen have appeared in the NCAA DIII semifinal match and the championship tournament since 2003. Ewan has appeared in 3 games since 2018 and has 3 shots on goal and 1 assist. JACOB BOYNEWICZ DEFENSE #91 MILWAUKEE SCHOOL OF ENG NORTHERN COLLEGIATE CONF NCAA DIII

Jacob Boynewicz was a 2017 graduate of Frank W Cox High School.

Jacob played all four years with CFBLC and was a team captain.

Jacob attended Milwaukee School of Engineering located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jacob is a Software Engineering Major with a Minor in Mathematics. He is a 4 year starter and was named Team Captain for the Raiders. Jacob is coached by Sean Farrell. The Raiders have had 2 conference appearances during Jacob’s career. Jacob has appeared in 38 games, has 6 goals, 10 assists and a whopping 117 ground balls. (click on the athletes photo to read more about their college careers)

Davis Chewey Suny Maritime College

Davis played for the Cox Lacrosse team for three years gaining experience in New Jersey before moving to Virginia Beach. As a team captain his senior year, he helped lead the Falcons to win the 2016 Lacrosse Club State Championship game. Graduating in 2016, Davis was recruited to play at the college level. At Suny Maritime College in New York City, Davis appeared in 12 games for the Privateers during his first season with the team. Davis went on to become a member of the Maritime College Navy ROTC program, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transporation while also earning an Unlimited Tonnage, Third Mates License. He currently serves as a Naval Officer, stationed in Norfolk, VA.
